Here’s a super easy tutorial for a metallic gold slice of pizza. Why would anyone want to make a metallic gold slice of pizza? Why wouldn’t they?!
DIY Metallic Gold Pizza Pin – what you need:
- felt (any color)
- scissors
- hot glue
- metallic gold spray paint
- pin closure (optional)
Start by cutting your felt into the shape of a pizza slice. It can be any size you want, but you’re making a metallic gold pizza, so you’re probably not really going for subtlety. Then cut out a thin rounded strip for the crust and a few circles for peperroni or whatever other pizza toppings you want to include. Glue them onto the pizza slice.
Then take your pizza slice outside and spray it with metallic gold paint. Let it dry on one side and then flip it over and do the same. Once both sides are dry, glue a pin closure on the back and have fun showing off your fancy pizza pin.
If you’re not much of a pin person, you can use this same tutorial to make other types of metallic pizza accessories (you can never have enough, right?) Some ideas: stitch a loop at the top to make a pizza necklace, glue it onto a headband, make some really gaudy pizza earrings, stitch them onto a vest to make pizza pockets. The possibilities are endless. Pizza is just so versatile.
