I’ve been really into making flower crowns recently. I haven’t shared a tutorial here because you can find flower crown tutorials on just about every DIY/fashion/crafty/lifestyle blog out there. But I have been thinking about some creative ways to store/show off my creations. So here’s an idea that allows you to turn flower crowns into wall art, but still keep them accessible so you can wear them whenever you want.
DIY Flower Crown Wall Art – what you need:
- a bunch of flower crowns
- wire
- scissors
- wall hooks
This project is really, really simple. Take your flower crowns and arrange them so that they just slightly overlap and all of them connect in some way. Then cut your wire into small pieces – just a couple of inches or so, and wrap it around the crowns where they intersect. Do this until all of the crowns are connected. Then hang the group of them on the wall by securing at least two of the crowns to wall hooks.
That’s it! I’m not exactly sure if having an abundance of flower crowns lying around is a pervasive issue for people. But if it is, now you have a solution. And if you don’t have that particular problem, you can always make a bunch of them using the millions of tutorials out there.
