Happy new year! While you recover from your hangovers, here are some of my favorite posts from this blog over the past year. I made some things I’m really proud of and I have even more fun plans for the coming year. First up are these Beyoncé conversation hearts. I love them so much I might just make them again for my Galentines in 2015!
I had some fun with my hair this year, both cutting and coloring it. I even tried out using soft pastels as hair chalk, and I think it came out pretty well!
I actually did a lot less knitting this year than I normally do. But one of my favorite knitting projects was this knit braided purse strap.
I’m basically always gluing things to other things to make them more exciting – I’m not much for minimalism no matter how hard I try. So I had a lot of fun making this flower rimmed mirror.
I expanded my horizons with food a little bit this year – I even tried making sushi and it went surprisingly well! I chronicled my sushi roll making experience in this post as a partnership with Kirin Beer.
I love cheese. I love crafts. So cheese themed craft projects are naturally my favorite. This year I made some cheese tray labels and I love them!
These floral photo collages were my favorite art and design type things I made this year. I’ve already made so many different variations.
I didn’t get around to doing too many Halloween projects this year. But I did paint these emoji pumpkins that I think are pretty cute 😉
This felt pie garland is definitely one of my favorite projects. It was super easy and still hangs on the mirror in my room. I’m hungry just thinking about it.
I learned a little about cocktail making this year, and I’m planning to get even more into it in 2015. My favorite drink from 2014 is this cranberry orange cocktail that I made for Friendsgiving.
